Trent Green misses the team's next two games after suffering a severe blow to his head during the NFL football game between Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals on September 10, 2006. He reportedly gained back consciousness in the tunnel but was too weak to recall what happened. Earlier reports claimed he would be out "indefinitely".

Born "Trent Jason Green", Trent was an Indiana University Quarterback before being drafted by San Diego Chargers. After years as a backup, he became a NFL starter with the Washington Redskins in 1998. Moving on to Kansas City Chiefs, he had stellar years in 2003 and 2004, achieving a passing total that was second only to the legendary Daunte Culpepper of Minnesota Vikings.
