Paris Hilton, being the heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune, has a lot of what most people and most celebrities don't. Yet she craves for attention and celebrity status. The infamous videotape incident is a case in point. As if that and many other attention grabbing antics are not enough, she got arrested for driving under influence. Now she is comtemplating going to space as a visitor. Or maybe astronaut?

Just months ago, Paris was spotted by police to be "driving erratically" in Hollywood. Police said Hilton showed signs of intoxication. The officers conducted a field sobriety test which determined that Paris was driving under influence. She was then officially booked on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI.

Despite the misdemeanors, the wealthy socialite is blessed with good looks and a svelt and toned body, and has all the luck. She has been romantically linked with many people, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Nick Carter (of Backstreet Boys).

A successful businesswoman, Paris owns a nightclub chain called Club Paris and reportedly earned a rather humble few million dollars from TV, movies and related activities. She appeared briefly in the movie House of Wax.

Paris Hilton is also frequently ranked by big magazines as a top 100 celebrity. She's #38 in Maxim magazine's annual Hot 100 list for 2006.
