Michelle Wie to make cut at PGA Tour event
Born "Michelle Sung Wie" in Hawaii, she's of Korean descent.
Michelle Wie has recently accepted a sponsor's exemption from the John Deere Classic, continuing on her efforts of becoming the first female to make a cut in a PGA Tour event in more than 60 years.
She's also been accepted by Stanford University to enrol in fall of 2007.
We'll see if she chooses education over golf then.
