Mariska Hargitay has new outlook on life after having son
She has a 10-month-old son, August Miklos Friedrich Hermann. In fact, the mother and son recently appeared in a full-page Got Milk? ad in People Magazine.
Born "Mariska Magdolna Hargitay", she is best known for her detective role as Olivia Benson in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. For this role, she has won the prestigious Emmy Award in 2006 and Golden Globe Award in 2005.
She is the daughter of Jayne Mansfield.
