Holly Hunter Stars as lead in Saving Grace
The TNT series debuts in summer 2007 and stars Kenny Johnson, Leon Rippy, Bokeem Woodbine and Laura San Giacomo.
This is Holly's first foray into TV.
An accomplished pianist (she played all the difficult pieces in The Piano), Holly Hunter portrays Grace Hanadarko, who is a self-destructive character and an Oklahoma City police detective. The character also has an affair with partner, Detective Ham Dewey (played by Kenny Johnson).
Perhaps what's less well known about Holly Hunter is that she's got a degree in drama from Carnegie Mellon University, a top school.
