Gillian Chung Photographed While Changing during Concert in Genting, Malaysia
Gillian Chung is the unfortunate victim of Hong Kong paparazzi, who
are as notorious as their Hollywood counterparts, maybe worse. They went to
the extent of installing a tiny "pinhole" camera in Gillian's changing
room when
Twins (the pop duo group consisting of Gillian and Charlene Choi)
were performing at Genting Highlands mountain resort in Malaysia.
The secretly taken photographs were published in the infamous
Easy Finder
magazine in Hong Kong. Not long after, the images were splashed all over the Internet.
Hong Kong celebrities, including Jackie Chan, rallied behind Gillian in a public
protest against irresponsible media reporting.
These events are reminiscent of the
Carina Lau
video incident just a few years ago.
Gillian Chung is a pop star, and one-half of the highly successful HK pop duo group
Twins.
Together with her partner, she has released more than 20 albums and acted in as many
Hong Kong and Chinese movies.
