Evangeline Lilly is Sexy Kate Austen in Lost

Evangeline Lilly sashayed into the Emmys in a beautiful purple Versace number, but it was not a beautiful night for Lost, for the hit TV series did not bag a single award at the 58th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Born in Alberta, Canada and discovered in British Columbia to be a model for the prestigious Ford agency, Evangeline was a virtual unknown until she hit it big time playing the sexy tree-climbing island goddess in Lost. So much so that Maxim magazine ranked her second in its "Hot 100" list in 2005.

Unconfirmed reports claim that Evangeline is now engaged to her Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan, whom she has been seeing since they met on the set.

Evangeline has also revealed that she is part gypsy. Apparently, the gypsy restless spirit in her almost made her reject the offer to act in Lost.
