Born in Miami Beach, Florida, Cheryl was once spotted in compromised fashion in Miami Beach itself.

Hines is a student of Lisa Kudrow at the L.A. Groundlings Theater. It is at this theater that she truly picked up improvisation and comedy sketches.

She has a daughter with Paul Young, the chairman of Groundlings Theater.
