Beyonce Knowles Delays Second Album and "Loses Herself" to Jay Z

Born "Beyoncé Giselle Knowles", the bouncy and sexy Beyonce was part of the hugely successful R&B group Destiny's Child, which was discovered by Whitney Houston. Hailing from Houston Texas, Knowles grew up musically talented, attending a performing arts school and often singing at local events. In fact, she personally wrote and produced several of Destiny's Child songs.
Beyonce released her debut album Dangerously In Love in 2003 and enjoyed a phenomenal success with the single Crazy In Love. She has won 9 Grammys and has also acted as "Foxxy Cleopatra" in the comedy movie Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Her dad and business manager, Matthew Knowles, also managed Destiny's Child (now defunct). It is he who approved her marriage to Jay-Z and it is also he who wanted to rework parts of her second album, resulting in the delay.
